Personal Statement: 

Dr. Golshan is a Project Scientist in the UC San Diego Department of Psychiatry and have more than 30 years’ experience in psychiatric research. Dr. Golshan has been Co-PI/statistician on more than 40 grants funded by the NIH, VA and DoD and co-author on 121 publications.  Dr. Golshan also had served as a member of review Committees for the NIMH and statistical reviewer for the American Journal of Geriatric, Biological Psychiatry, Psychiatric Research and Psychopharmacology.  Dr. Golshan has extensive experience in complex statistical modeling and analysis and in study design and methodology and had been involved in teaching principles of study design and statistical concepts and procedures in the psychiatric department since 1987.
