Personal Statement:
Dr. Christopher Friend grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Juniata College where he majored in Chemistry and minored in Art History. He attended medical school at University of Pittsburgh and also earned his MBA from University of Pittsburgh. After his general surgery internship at Emory University, he completed his radiology residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is fellowship trained in both musculoskeletal imaging (University of Arizona) and vascular and interventional radiology (Emory University).
