The Veterans Medical Research Foundation celebrated Wayne Akeson, MD as the guest of honor at the VMRF Garden Gala on October 4, 2008. Many of our old and new Foundation friends came together to celebrate VMRF’s medical research accomplishments and to foreshadow our promising future in support of research-based health care for Veterans.
